Privacy policy

2. In short
- This website sets no cookies.
- There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media plugins.
- Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, not from Google Fonts or other third parties.
- There is no contact form and no user account.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is run by an external hosting provider. When you open a page, the server automatically processes data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and working service). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
4. Cloudflare
To deliver and protect the website we use the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Requests to this website pass through Cloudflare servers; in particular the IP address, time, page requested and technical browser data are processed.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and secure delivery and in defending against attacks). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses also apply. More: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
5. Storage in your browser (local storage)
If you switch between the light and dark design, your browser stores this choice locally (local storage) so that it is still there on your next visit. This information is not sent to us and does not leave your device. The storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Choices made on the “revolving stage” are not stored.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you email or call us, we process your contact details and the content of your message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract. The data is deleted once the request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. External links
This website links to external pages, for example the official websites of theatres and casinos or the photographers’ profiles on Unsplash. Data is only transferred to the respective provider when you click such a link; that provider’s privacy policy then applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Please write to info@blackverdo.com.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
